1. WHO WE ARE
Stichting Preferente Aandelen Arcadis N.V. (the “Preferred Stock Foundation” or ”Foundation” or “we” or “us”) has been founded in 1995 in view of the listing of the shares of Arcadis N.V. (the “Company”) at Euronext in Amsterdam. At that time the Foundation was called Stichting Preferente Aandelen Heidemij Holding N.V. In 1997 its name was changed into the current one. The Foundation is the data controller of the personal data collected as set out in this privacy statement. In this privacy statement we explain how we collect and use personal data when you visit our website or when you contact us.
The objectives of the Preference Shares Foundation are to represent the interests of Arcadis N.V., its affiliated enterprises and its stakeholders. It seeks to achieve its objectives by, inter alia, acquiring cumulative preference shares.
2. THE TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA WE PROCESS
We may collect and process the following categories of personal data:
- Information you provide: when you visit our website, your IP-address is registered.
- Our communication with you: when you send us an email, or contact us in any other way, we register your name, contact details and your communication with us.
3. FOR WHICH PURPOSES WE USE YOUR DATA
Purpose. The main purpose for which we use your personal data is to communicate with you. When you contact us, we use your personal data to respond to your inquiry when you contact us. We use your name, title, email address and/or phone number and any other information that you may provide to us when you contact us. This processing is based on our legitimate interests existing of the ability to communicate and maintain contact with you.
4. SHARING DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES
From time to time, the Foundation may need to make personal data available to third parties. We will put in place agreements with third party service providers and professional advisors to protect your data protection interests.
Service providers that provide products and services to the Foundation such as hosting our website and for monitoring and analysing web traffic, IT systems suppliers (Mooi Online (reg no. 73736716), Opserve B.V. (reg.no. ..) and TransIP B.V.(reg.no. …..)).
Professional advisors such as accountants, auditors or lawyers.

We may also be required by law to share your personal data with public authorities, governmental organizations or law enforcement for the purpose of compliance with legal obligations. 5. SECURITY AND RETENTION
We will take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against loss or unlawful use.
Your personal data will be retained for as long as required for the purposes described in this privacy statement or in so far as such is necessary for compliance with statutory obligations and for solving any disputes.

You have the right to request an overview of your personal data processed by us. If the personal data is incorrect, incomplete, or not processed in compliance with applicable law, you have the right to have this personal data rectified, deleted or restricted (all as appropriate). You also have the right to object to processing of your personal data (as appropriate).
